Brown Hotels are ready for a Corona routine

Keeping our guests and employees healthy has always been a top value for Brown hotels. With the World Health Organization announcing the Corona virus as a global pandemic, we realized that the world had changed and that we at Brown Hotels must be prepared accordingly. Ahead of returning to routine operations, we are happy to share with you the steps we have taken to ensure safe accommodation at our hotels:

 

Hotel Disinfection

  • Brown's high standard of cleanliness has been further tightened, adding fogging and disinfecting surfaces in rooms and all public areas in the hotels
  • All hotels have a disinfection certificate from a qualified outside company
  • Roofing, balconies and open spaces are frequently disinfected by fogging
  • Inside the buildings themselves (rooms, elevators, spas, lobby and reception) all surfaces are disinfected most frequently. The disinfection is done with alcohol or chlorine based disinfectants (EPA standard)
  • All air conditioning systems have been thoroughly disinfected
  • Hotel rooms are being checked by the senior staff in accordance with the highest standard
  • Breakfast in individual branded boxes
  • In the bathroom - disposable cups wrapped, disinfected toilet plunger

 

Personal hygiene

  • A mask and a heat measurement are obligatory when entering a hotel
  • Hand sanitizers were installed in accessible and visible places 
  • Personal branded hand sanitizers are available at the front desks
  • All workers wear masks and work with gloves
  • Branded hand wipes are provided to hotel guests 

 

Social Distancing

 

  • We operate boutique hotels, in which public areas do not allow accommodate gathering
  • We limit the number of people in the hotels and make sure there is enough space between occupied rooms
  • Check-in is done independently using sanitized I-Pads so contact with reception staff is minimal
  • A 2-meter distance between individuals is maintained, in accordance with the Ministry of Health's guidelines
  • Breakfast is served in branded no-contact trays
